High-purity quicklime and hydrated lime serve as important feedstocks for calcium-based chemicals, including calcium stearate, calcium salts, and precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC).
Construction Materials
Lime is widely used in autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), wall putty, specialty dry-mix mortars, and other building material systems. Hydrated lime and high-specific-surface-area calcium hydroxide may also be used to improve workability, reaction efficiency, and final material performance.
